Enter your students’ Lexile measures in Literacy Pro. You will be able to assign your students the Scholastic Reading Measure. This adaptive assessment will generate Lexile measures that will automatically be entered in Literacy Pro.
#5: Teacher Picks
Recommend books directly to individual students or your whole class. Students will see the suggested title(s) in a collection called “Teacher Picks.” You can do this at any time.
To recommend a book, teachers can recommend a book by looking at the Book Card for the title. From the book card information, select Manage Recommendations, and then select the students to whom you’d like to recommend the book. Then select Apply.
-
- If the ebook you recommended is outside of the student’s grade-level range, they will have access to the book—unless you cancel the recommendation. (To cancel a recommendation, deselect the corresponding student.)
