Books at My Level
In Literacy Pro, students are encouraged to browse age-appropriate books of interest to them. In addition, if students would like to be guided to books within their independent reading range, they can look for the target icon.
Here’s how that range is determined:
- For Lexile measures, a student’s independent reading range includes books that are 100L below and 50L above that student’s Lexile measure.
- For Guided Reading, the independent reading range includes books that are one and two levels below the student’s instructional Guided Reading level.
Please note: Teachers must have entered students’ reading levels into Literacy Pro for the Books at My Level icon to appear.
