How do my students access Scholastic Digital Manager?

Your students will be able to access Scholastic programs depending on your organization's rostering method.

Choose your rostering method below for detailed instructions on how students can sign in. What is my rostering method?

 

Manually on Scholastic Digital Manager
  1. Go to https://digital.scholastic.com
  2. Students will sign in with their SDM username and password.
  3. Once students have signed in, they can select a program to launch.

Clever

Students have three options to launch Scholastic programs using Clever:

  • Sign in to your district's Clever portal and select the Scholastic icon from your list of available learning applications.
  • Use Clever Badges to access your Clever Portal.
  • Use the SIGN IN WITH CLEVER option at http://digital.scholastic.com.

Google Classroom

If students already uses Google Classroom, connecting to Scholastic takes only a few clicks!

  1. Go to https://digital.scholastic.com
  2. Students will select SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE CLASSROOM and sign in with their Google Classroom account.


Please note: if a student’s home device is managed through Google Family Link, the parental restrictions can interfere with the student’s ability to use their school account at home. If this happens, you may need to instruct a parent or guardian to add their child’s school account on the device they use at home.

ClassLink


To access Scholastic products from within ClassLink, all your students need to do is sign in to ClassLink and open the Scholastic Digital Manager app.

  1. Sign in to ClassLink.
  2. Select the Scholastic Digital Manager app from the ClassLink launchpad.
  3. Students will then launch immediately into your SDM dashboard.
    4. If you encounter any sign in issues, please reach out to your organization’s technical coordinator.
LTI
    1. Students sign in to your learning management system.
    2. Select the appropriate application link to launch Scholastic Digital Manager.
    3. Depending on your LMS, you may need to launch the link in a new tab.
Tip! For additional information on launching an application, consult the support materials for your LMS.
Schoology
    1. Students sign in to Schoology.
    2. Select the appropriate Schoology course and application link to launch Scholastic Digital Manager.
    3. Students may need to launch the link in a new tab.
Canvas
    1. Students sign in to Canvas.
    2. Select the appropriate Canvas course and application link to launch Scholastic Digital Manager.
    3. Students may need to launch the link in a new tab.
