If your district already uses Canvas, connecting with SDM is easy! Please note that before adding SDM to your course, an Admin at your organization must have already added SDM to your Canvas instance.
Adding SDM to your course
- Sign in to Canvas and select the Courses tab
- Select the course to which you would like to add Scholastic Digital Manager
- Select the + button next to the module within the course where you would like to add Scholastic Digital Manager
- Select "External Tool" from the drop-down menu
- Locate Scholastic Digital Manager in the list of tools
- Select Load in a new tab. You must check this box in order for the App to open correctly.
- Select "Add Item"
- You have now added Scholastic Digital Manager to your course
