When talking about rostering methods, we're describing the way classes are added, imported, or synced with Scholastic Digital Manager—as well as how you sign-in to access your digital suite of subscriptions.
Educators can use SDM to manually manage their student rostering or can roster their students through one of our 3rd party integrations.
Rostering Manually on SDM
Rostering manually on SDM means that your sign-on access and classroom management are handled within Scholastic Digital Manager.
- Manual rostering on SDM is teacher-led, meaning that educators can set up their classes in minutes, instantly creating student accounts by CSV file upload—or by manually adding individual students.
- Manual rostering includes an Easy Login option allowing younger learners, PreK-Grade 2, to sign in using recognizable user icons and picture passwords.
- Learn more about rostering manually with our Getting Started with Scholastic Digital Manager checklist.
