Editing Small Groups
Small groups can be modified at any time.
Selecting Edit Groups and accessing the Preview & Edit Groups step allows you to move students, rename groups and access individual student reports. The Edit Groups option lets you make changes to your groups based on the data available when the groups were created.
Updating Small Groups
When the digital Ready4Reading program has gathered sufficient new information, an alert will appear above the group, indicating that it’s now possible to reconfigure your groups. (For teacher-selected groups, an alert will appear every three weeks.)
You will be able to preview recommendations for new groups and accept the recommendations, or keep your groups as they are.
New Student Data Available
The Ready4Reading Grouping Tool will alert you when new data is available from your small groups based on data from Ready4Reading.
Select Preview Recommendations to view reconfigured groups, based on new data. You will be able to save or cancel these recommendations.
For Teacher-Selected groups, this banner will appear if you haven’t adjusted a group in three weeks. Select this link to see how new data would affect your existing groups. You will be able to reconfigure your groups or keep them as they are.
