Using the primary and co-teacher roles, you are able to transfer the ownership of existing classes.
If at any time you would like to reassign a co-teacher as the primary teacher of a class, you can do so from the MANAGE ACCESS page.
- Select your desired class from the drop-down menu to see a list of teachers assigned to your class.
- Locate the name of the teacher you would like to make the primary teacher and select MAKE PRIMARY TEACHER. A message will appear asking you to confirm your selection. Once you confirm it, this teacher will now be the primary teacher for the selected class.
Please note that once you assign a new primary teacher, you will no longer be able to add or edit student information, or manage student access to this class.
Primary teacher and co-teacher roles are managed within Clever. Contact your Clever Administrator to update your class's information within Clever. Any data that is updated on Clever will sync nightly with Scholastic Digital Manager.
Teachers managed in your class's Google Classroom settings. The new teacher will need to sign in to SDM and import the same class into their account:
- Sign in to SDM
- Go to MANAGE ACCESS
- Select the target class and choose the RESYNC CLASS option
Class settings are managed within ClassLink. To request changes to your class, please contact your building or organization’s tech coordinator/ClassLink contact first. Once the changes are made in ClassLink, you can launch into SDM to resync your classroom.
Co-teachers are managed in your building's Learning Management System. Please make changes in your LMS first and then launch into SDM to resync your classroom.
